Passable is very debatable.
The location being close to the station was one of the only 2 positives, the room was very warm and the temperature was controlled via the window.
When booking we were aware we were paying heavily over the odds for our 10 night stay. The Winter Olympics were taking place so the W3,960 000(yep nearly 4 million) we had to swallow. The room was never cleaned during our stay, the rubbish bin was never emptied, neither were the towels replaced. As to the advertised Bathrobe it was nowhere to be seen and given the size of the towels it would have been very welcome. It was left to us to visit reception to empty our rubbish and replenish the towels. We stayed in two other locations whilst in Korea and as we return to the UK being ripped off by the Hi Motel Gangneuang has left a bitter taste. The bed had a rubber sheet on it which made it super hot. Before submitting this review we did give the Hi Motel the opportunity to communicate with us but they have chosen not to do so.

Simple, efficient, but bites are concerning.
Staff was nice slough minimal English. Hotel close to the Gangneung Station. Rooms are simple but it seems reasonably new.
Woke with bumps on the side I slept on, looks like bites. Room was too hot and no way to turn down the heating which h was from the floor.

Nice hotel, close to train station and helpful staff
The staff were friendly and helpful in many ways during our stay here for the Olympics.
Of course, the prices were about triple what they should have been for Gangneung. But, since it was the Olympics were knew we would have to pay extra for a hotel. Nonetheless, value for money is rated low.

Amazing staff, location, and room!
This hotel was amazing! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. We didn't speak the language, but they went the extra mile to make sure we knew how to get around town. The location is great and close to the train station. If I was to visit the region again I would highly recommend making a stop here!
